Solange de Billy-Tremblay
MBA, Trustee and Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP)
Solange de Billy-Tremblay has been a licensed Trustee since 1989 and working in the insolvency field since 1984 first at the offices of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy in Toronto and Montréal, and then as a Trustee and Insolvency professional with several insolvency firms in Montreal. In 1997, she founded her own firm, de Billy-Tremblay.
Solange de Billy-Tremblay has handled hundreds of proposals and bankruptcy files for businesses and individuals facing financial difficulties and suggested alternative solutions when recourses under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act did not appear to be the best solution.

She has been involved as a volunteer for the Canadian Association of Reorganization and Insolvency Professional (CARIP) notably by helping draft and review written exams for articling students and by sitting on two occasions on the oral board for candidates to the Trustee licence. She has written articles and has been a lecturer in the insolvency field.
